Abstract
The main objective of the research was to optimize the management and administration of IT services in the Public Prosecutor's Office by implementing a web-based system based on the ICONIX methodology.
The study was classified as applied, with a predominantly quantitative approach complemented by qualitative techniques. A single-group pre-experimental design with pretest–posttest measurements was used, allowing for the evaluation of the impact of the technological proposal. The population considered in the methodology presents inconsistencies, as it was defined in the manuscript as the IT requirements of the Public Prosecutor's Office with a sample of 80 records.
Regarding the quantitative results, hypothesis tests showed a significance value of p = 0.000 (< 0.05) with a 95% confidence level, demonstrating statistically significant differences and confirming the positive effects of the predictive model in reducing attrition. It is concluded that the use of machine learning is relevant and effective, provided there is adequate data management and a solid institutional implementation.
