Abstract
The objective of this article was to analyze the results of the scientific literature of various investigations to find evidence of the effects of the application of the 5s tool in companies in the industrial sector. To achieve this purpose, a systematic and organized search of studies related to the object of the investigation was carried out, in which it was possible to observe the access barriers that are currently manifested in the entities of the health sector to achieve levels of efficiency with the application of 5s tools, the most common practices associated with the methodology and the results of its implementation. To this end, we consider the following: What are the effects of the application of the 5s tool in companies in the industrial sector? For this, we proceeded to search for articles, identification of studies, for their respective analysis. Our research guides to identify the actions methods to follow to optimize and improve the performance in the management of the entities of the industrial sector.
